Ok guys I have decided to put a big block into my GS340 This leaves me with a perfectly good 300. I thought about selling it but then I thought about just putting it in my S-10( i was planning on putting a small block chevy in there) So what motor mounts do I use. I am going to get the swap kit for a SBC so How do I get my motor mounts to work.

    thanks Adam

Ok i do that thanks that what I thought I don't think that the tranny will work I belive that you will have to get the tranny from say a V-8 camaro I guess one from the 4.3 v-6 would work to

    thanks Adam

you cant blame him for tring to my knowledge the t-5 in a camaro has the same bolt patter as a richmond t-10 or even the muncie 4 speeds. So all you have to do is get a 4 speed bell housing from any bop engine and bolt it up to the 300 The only modification you will have to make is weld an ear on for the hydralic slave cylinder. Or you could get the bellhousing and everything from that very same camaro and use an adapter. the reason that you should use the camaro tranny is that is a little srtonger. These transmission are know for being weak so might as well get the srtongest of the bunch. I wonder who diffrent the motor mounts are from a small block chevy. The nice thing is that the swap kit for the S-10 is adjustabble.

    thanks Adam
