more car info - year ? 2bbl - 4bbl ? 2 speed automatic ? posi - gears ? 1>dual exhaust with low restriction mufflers . 2>good tune up by someone with points distributor knowledge and maybe add in a stock lookin but higher output coil . maybe add in an electronic ignition change-over kit to add into the stock distributor if ya wanna . points are fine - just gotta keep on top of it a little more often . and they are cheap . 3>better gears will still look stock but make a big difference especially around town , but less gas mileage . 4>better torque converter if available . if thats the ST300 trans there used to be some parts for them . movin up to a TH350 or 200R4 would be a plus but not original if ya wanna keep it that way . then it would just be a matter of a basic shift kit and a cooler . 5>intake - 4bbl addition if not equipped , with a good low restriction air filter . or a real good 2bbl , some aftermarket/hi-po rebuilt dirt track units out there . that'd be kinda sleeper lookin . 6>and very impotant : shocks/suspension , brakes , tires - vehicle "BALANCE" . there's a million things - its just money ! del
