300 Rope seal replacement

    itpphoto What just happened ?

    Hello all,
    Anybody know a Fel-Pro part number or equivilent for the rubber or neoprene replacement for the rope seal on the timing cover on the 300 (65) ???

    The gasket kit I got only gave the rope seal, the parts guy had no clue.

    I'm thinking the 86-87 gran national neoprene seal will do.. Think there's a ford part number as well..
