I picked up a 67 Special four door sedan I am taking parts off it for my 67 Convertible. The engine is complete and all fluids are present. It hasn't been run in a few years but looks clean and the car seems to have been taken care of. I don't really have a use for the motor so what should I do with it? I am located about an hour north east of Pittsburgh. Thanks.
two barrell, no air. The same guy I got this car from has two others. Both 300 two barrells. One car has air and that motor looks complete as well. I got the grille out of one and the four wheel well moldings off of the car that has air. I checked under hood of both Saturday and the air car has the compressor missing. Not much left on the cars that I could see. Both dash pads junk, steering wheels are bad, no radios, bad bumpers, taillights are rough.
Moldings are going on my convertible. I stumbled across three 1967 Special four door sedans for sale locally for $1,000. All have been sitting for awhile. One fairly recent and two for some time. I gave him $600 for one complete car that had a nice clean dash and good dash pad. I think the seatbelts will be fine as well. The car has black interior. It has good rechromeable bumpers, nice battery tray, real nice grille all of which I need. I will still have the rest of the car for stuff that I know I will use. What I don't know yet. Along with the one car I got 4 wheel well moldings and another real nice grill. When my car is complete or closer to completion items I don't need will be posted. Right now the motor is available as my car has a good 340 in it. Two cars are still available but I don't think there is much " good " left in them.
