Ok guys I know this has been covered here many times can you run the 64 aluminum 300 intake with 65 and later the iron heads. thanks Adam
ummm....nope on the reply... You can run the 64 alum intake...I did it for almost 10 yrs until the bottom end blew out on my 66 iron headed 300...The one thing I did notice is that it ran hotter than with the stock 2 bbl., but never figured out why... I'm guessing mine is a 64 alum 4bbl. casting number is 1359122...
