300 head porting

If I were to port the heads on my 65 300 would I see as much of an improvement as the big block guys?

If you changed the cam, intake and added headers aswell you would.

 

I plan on changing the cam,and I already have the 4 barrel intake. I probably won't get headers because they are to expensive for me but I will probably get a 2.5 inch exhaust with an X-pipe.
