Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find a timing chain cover for a 300 in a '67 Skylark? Which after market brands would you suggest? Any help on this would be appreciated....Thanks

Same cover as the 350. TA Performance sells a brand new cover.

I wouldn't assume they are the same. I know TA machines the oil pump pocket on their covers, and that is THE most important part of the timing cover. Exact clearances make or break oil pressure in a Buick. Not saying the rockauto cover is no good, but if it is foreign made, I'd pay the money for the TA cover. I know the 455 covers are made here and machined by TA as well. Not sure about the small block covers.

I've got a couple extra new ones for spares if ya can't find one . PM me or whatever if ya need to .
and FYI some come with no timing tab like stock - TA sells an add-on for that . it just screws in basically .
I've seen em at swaps on occasion . take a couple measurements etc - 455's not the same and the AMC ones look kinda similar also . a clear phone pic would work well .
