300 Carb Gasket etc

    I'm going to take my 300 in my '65 LeSabre apart to detail it, Does the carburator have a stainless piece between the manifold/gasket/carb to keep the exhaust gasses from eating the carburator like my 401 Nailhead does?

    If so, are they available?

    I bought one for my 4 barrell afb when I did my electra... but I'm wondering if the 2 barrells use the same concept
