300 buick V-8

    I'm new to this site(I usually spend time on the 348-409 forum)can anyone tell me if a later model BOP 200 R-4 overdrive trans(if there is such an animalfor buicks)will bolt up to an earlier 215 buick and 300 block,?Thanks Paul Petty Delta Junction Alaska

    Yep, same bolt pattern. A pretty good upgrade swap. The critical thing is the throttle valve cable on 200R4's.

    There is a detailed article on this swap into a 67 Skylark with a 340 in the August 2000 issue of Hot Rod.
