Does anyone have the water fitting that goes on the back of the aluminum 4v intake? Mine's awol. I can make one but I'd rather not.

Is it a heater hose fitting? Try the HELP aisle at the parts store. They have fittings like that. Usually fits into a 1/2 NPT hole.

This is what I had, I don't have a clue what happened to it.

Never saw that before. looks like a thermostat housing. Maybe someone will have an extra.

It's small and goes on the back of the intake. I hope so, but it's not the end of the world if no one does, I can make one if need be.

It looks like the one on the back of my '64 2 bbl manifold. In fact I am planning on transferring it to the 4 bbl manifold when I do the 2 to 4 swap. Both manifolds have the same spot on the back for it. On mine, this is for the supply hose for the heater core. Maybe someone with a 2 bbl might have one. Good luck!

I have a 2bbl intake but it doesn't have this fitting on it. There's no place for it.

That's odd. I double checked my 2 bbl on the car and it does have this fitting. It goes directly on the back of manifold. The port for the water choke is straight above it. Hopefully some of the 64 gurus will chime in. Check with Brian @ 197064buickspec ,he is pretty sharp on 64-65 stuff.

Only the aluminum manifolds have this fitting. Since the aluminum manifolds don't have an exhaust riser to pre-heat the plenum it has a water jacket that surrounds the plenum. The rear of the water jacket terminates into the heater hose outlet. I have several kicking around but I'm not sure what condition they are in.
