300 340 intakes

    i need to know if the intake is the same as any other buick motor possibly a 215 or something of the sort i am building a gasser and cant use stock parts for a retro gasser this is a car that has to be completly different from all the rest any help woul be greatly appriceated also any valve covers and headers info too

    For a gasser, why not get a pair of manifolds to mount four downdraft webers or injection.

    There are Offy valve covers for the alum. heads.

    Don't forget you will also need a leaf sprung tube front end.

    None of the 300/340 manifolds interchange. Different deck heights on each engine = wider manifold. You could possibly use some type of spacer on each side......

    No headers available right now. Call Postons Buick and bug them about getting another batch built. Thay have been promising them for 2 years now.....:error:

    some of the Rover fuel injection manifolds look pretty cool without the air box mounted on top. Not sure if one could be made to work with a 340.
