Hey all you people looking for hedders for 300cid and 340 cid 1966-67 years they will be availible in June from[IMG]

I recieved email from them today saying they will start remanufactoring the hedders. I am so glad that this company lessons to its consumers. There are a few other Buick perfomance dealers that can learn a lesson from Poston!:Smarty:

Thanks Poston for making my day!:beer :

That is good news on the headers. I have a set of the original Poston headers on my '64 Skylark 300 4bbl. car.
A word of warning to everyone though--they will not work on a manual transmission car. My car has a factory 4-speed in it and I had to completely re-make/re-route the two rear runners on the drivers side. As recieved, the clutch Z-bar went right through the middle of the pipes. I spent quite a bit of time doing it, but I was able to cut the two rear runners in just the right places such that I re-used all the same pipe and completely changed the routing of it. I think I ended up with about 5 or 6 weld joints and had to add about 3" of straight pipe I got at a muffler shop to one of the runners. The one for the passenger side fit with no problems at all.
If I remember correctly from talking to Poston when I got my headers, they don't work with cars that have a column shift automatic--they only work on the cars with a floor shift automatic. I would think some creative linkage rigging could get around that problem though.

Thats even better for me since my engine is in a '84 with a floor shifter.:Brow:

BTW, "hedders" is/was a copyrighted term by the Hedman Company for their particular brand of headers.

What you will be getting are "headers".
