My son is Nailhead crazy already. He can spend hours playing at the wheel of my old Buick. Call it car crazy from birth!:3gears:
Mkaes perfect sense to me!!! Here's a pic of my grand daughter at 6 weeks old behind the wheel of a 9 second Skylark!! By the way, she's the little one. The big one is my daughter!! She's a bit of a gear head, too!!!
I have a scary story about my 2 year old grandson and my 66 GS. It was backed in my driveway which is on a small incline. He loves that car so Maw-ma put him in under the drivers seat, forgeting that there is no locked steering on a 66. The little bugger grabed the shifter and pulled down. Here goes the car, the kid and the Maw-ma down through the yard just missing my new Century, a tree and a bike. It came to rest with one little boy laughing all the way, one wife scared out of her gord and me raising hell with everyone. Luck was on our side that day. Now the cars are locked when the rug rats are here!ou:
...hmmm,...all your rantin and raving and he didn't hit a thing. . .appears that your two year old grandson can drive the 66 better'n YOU!?? :bla: :bla: :bla: :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Just a reminder. Put the emergency brake on! Let my 3 year old grand daughter play in mine and the first thing she did was grab the gear shift lever and move it out of park into neutral. Fortunately it was on level ground. Learned my lesson with no bad after effects.:TU:
Great pics! I nominate you for father of the year. I had to wait until I was 15, to climb behind the wheel of my '66 4-speed. Dan
Nice thread, great pics. You can allmost see their imagination runnin 12's through the traps :3gears: D.
