Anyone have any recommendations for Black 3-pt retractable seatbelts for a 70 GS455? I've looked at year one (non retractable) and some JC Whitney stuff to throw in my car but there has got to be better belts out there.

Contact Joe Orecchia at Gmgold70@aol.com. He's the seat belt maven for Buicks and might have a set for you.

I ordered the Chevelle set from Andover Auto, should be here today. I'll post about the fit so others can make a more informed decision. They were $140 for the front set.

I'm surprised that it is so hard to find reproduction shoulder belts. My 67 came from the factory with available shoulder belts, but try and find a set from Classic Industries, Year One, OPG, etc, that will bolt up to the factory mounting points. After driving around with a shoulder belt in my daily drivers for so long, I find it uncomfortable to get in my Buick and drive around with just a lap belt. I need new belts anyways, and I would be thrilled if I could upgrade to shoulder belts.
I am not surprised that I cannot find anyone that has a set tooled up to specifically fit a Buick A body, but you think somebody would be making shoulder belts to fit a Chevelle that I could use. :Do No:

i bought the Chevelle set from Andover Auto. Installation was easy adn they work great. 3 point retractable belts that mounted to exisitng hardware. I did have to bend the sill plate a little to allow room for the retractable assembly to fit between the door and seat.
