Like it says. It was assembled over a year ago, but the car has hardly gotten any use. I have a 12 bolt 3.08 posi that will work better with the trans I am going to put in the car. narrower model out of a 65 el camino 33 spline Yukon axles Worm gear posi from Detroit Moroso (TA) girdled cover Cost: $1500 You can drive it around in my car before you buy, see how great the posi works & stuff. Is this pick up only, or will you allow a truck to come pick it up? Does anybody know how much narrower this is compared to a '70-72?
65-7 rears are 1" narrower than 68-72. A rear axle weighs approx 220 lbs.....add the crate/skid/pallet and call it an even 250. I shipped an Olds 12 bolt from FL to NJ last year for $120 Contact some shippers and see what they quote you.
I hsould also add that the gears were U.S. Gear brand. All the races/bearings/seals were new too. New wheel studs too. Thanx.
