Hello, I am wondering if 3.55 rear gears would work well w/ new super t10 4spd??? The t10 has 2.64,1.61,1.23,1.00 gears. I think I will have Monzaz on the board put together an 8.5 posi rear for me soon. It's for my '70 Lark, it will be street driven w/455, 4 spd. 27" tire. It won't see much highway use but I would be able to drive it a few hundred miles occasionally. Thanks, Tom
sounds like a good plan. I have a recent 4spd conversion into my 71' in avatar with 8.5 rear 3.73 gear running 28" tall tire. Built M21 trans. Went for a quick test run when it was all done and (before the motor came out for rebuild) and the car pulled like a freight train!:eek2:
Hey Tim, she's getting there!!!! Just got the frame stripped down to nothing tonight!!!! Going to be a while 'til this thing hits the pavement but I'm making serious progress. New front suspension kit, brake and fuel lines, shocks, disc brakes and rear end coming soon!!! How's your ride treaten ya?!:beers2: Tom
