I have an 8.2 10 bolt 3.42 posi rear end for sale. It is the factory correct 00 stamped housing for a 69-70 GS or 70 GSX.

Brake drums and brake cables included. Needs to be cleaned and painted, but axle tubes are pit free.

$950. Free delivery to the GS Nats if paid in advance.

Would love to have that James. If it doesn't sell at the Nats maybe we can discuss shipping options if any?

    Todd,

I'll be happy to ship if you can make the arrangements to have it picked up. I can get a pallet and strap it down.

Do you know anyone close to you going to BG?

    James,

Go ahead and sell if you have a buyer. If it doesn't sell let me know and we'll see if I can work something out on having it picked up.

    Thanks

    James,

Please give me me a day or two to see if I can find someone who is going to BG and willing to transport it to Monzaz's shop.
    Is this OK?

Yes Rick, that is fine. Keep us all updated so anyone else interested will know where we stand.

    Thanks.

    James,

I see there is a person in line who will pick up locally if his guestion is answered to his satisfaction. I am OK with you selling it to this guy if you want.

No, the internals have not been inspected. I confirmed the ratio by spinning the yoke and counting the revolutions compared to the axle, and it is indeed a posi carrier.

I can remove the cover and visually inspect, but I will not warranty this rear end based on a visual inspection. The mechanical condition is unknown as this came out of a 70 GS 455 that was wrecked many years ago. I recommend the buyer has it disassembled and checked and new seals installed as it appears that they have been seeping.

pacekar is next in line if Rick decides to pass.

Rick - you are still up.
    pacekar is next

The pumpkin was cast on September 26, 1969. I'm not sure when it was built, but guessing it could have been September 30, 1969 based on the 273 stamped on the axle tube as shown.

FYI, This is what a friend said about getting the POSI to WI from the GS Nats. I asked him if he would be up for helping out because someone mentioned they would help out with gas money, AND, knowing how Barack Hussein Obamas' tenure has hit us all, gas money would be a big help!! Here is what he said---- ""I live in Milwaukee Wi and that is a good 4 hr drive to Eau Claire. He would have to pick it up at my home"" If this helps anyone Please let me know & I will get everyone in contact with each other. Thanks, Mark
