sORRY i DID NOT LIST 10 BOTL 8.5... tHESE WILL not FIR THE pONTIAC bUICK OR oLDS 8.2 REAR ENDS.

 

will NOT WORK IN THE 12 bolt Chevy 8.875 either.

I have date coded VERY good used 8.875 gears BUT they go for 165.00 on ebay all the time. ANY originalGM 8.875 12 bolt chevy gear INCLUDING 2.56 2.73 geaRS are BIG money now.

 

Interested in a set of 3.42s. Will they drop into a '71 8.5 10 bolt that currently has 2.73 gears?

Also have one set of 3.73 USED GM gears that has a small ring gear chip, way outer diameter. (pictured) Thsi should not cause any issues we have cleaned up the chip and should run quiet with no issues.
