I had some errands to run this morning. And cleaned up the house.
I took a nap this afternoon.
Because I'm driving a wedding tonight.

It's a blast to drive. When accelerating, it's wide open!

Demolished a bathroom today and then took a mega nap.

Tomorrow, going for an easy hike/walk through the (unusually) green CA hills before more rain comes this week.

Nothing exciting here. Took my wife shopping. Changed oil in my Plymouth. Repaired a large pusher snow shovel that I hope I don't have to use again this season. Took the dog out for exercise. And we had our lady friend, from across the road, over for dinner.

It is 36* and cloudy. Supposed to reach 42*. Just doing a whole lot of nothing. After lunch, I will attend my garage, start the GS and check the initial timing. Still too much salt residue on the roads to go for a drive. Watch the nascar race later.
Tomorrow morning, I will go over to Detroit to ups and pick up an order from Jegs (duplicolor red & Clevite crank guard) & Restoration specialties (straps & bolts).

Waiting for the @#$%!! snow that fell last night to melt.

Then going over to meeting with the rest of the coin club executive and planning out our trip to the Berlin Numismata in October.

Met up with some old and long time friends at a mixed curling bonspiel about 30 miles south of me Friday and Saturday evening. Had a wonderful time commiserating with them. Watching curling is great when you understand the strategy behind it, even if some of the participants aren't very good at the game. I curled in a men's competitive league at one time as well as a casual mixed league for many years.

Had a steak dinner last night, which is something I hadn't done in several years.

I went to a gun show Saturday and had such a good time, I went back Sunday. They had an amazing display of military vehicles including a Huey Gunship and a Stuart Tank! I also found several hard to find items that I needed for my WWII USMC collection. It was a great weekend!

It was nice and sunny here. Sucks that I stayed inside most of the day fighting a sinus cold.

Back in the late '50s I caddied at the Brae Burn Country Club in Newton, MA. They had a curling rink there. It was (and is) quite a place, with membership by invitation only.
