    Guys,

I came across a guy that has a buick 350 that was pulled from a totaled car 25-30 years ago with the tranny. The engine had 9000 miles on it at the time and there it sat in the garage since. Pristine looking and turns over freely. Complete carb to pan, trans to fan. What is this thing worth? Anyone with interest in it? I am in NH and can pick it up.

Block casting is 1241748 which is from 72-81.

    Tom,

I have no idea what it's worth, but depending on the price I might be interested. Keep me posted. Thanks.

Unless you need it for originality, it won't be worth a lot more than any good running 350. Be sure to replace the rear main seal before installing just to be on the safe side. I bought a 74 Apollo with only 12000 miles, driven less than 1000 miles in the last 10 years but started regularily. Rear seal deverloped a slow leak about 2 mos. after I got it. Realize also that an engine not run in some time could lose the tersion on the piston ringd, and thus loose compresion. Guessing at $600 -700 if it has a 4 bbl. electronic ign. believe they were red up to 74 and metallic blue after 75. Hey, were did those italics come from??? Ben.

Well, Ifi anyone wants it, let me know. I could pick it up and sell it for $600 and make it worth my while to go and get it. I want the trans that comes with it and don't need the 350 as I am doing a 455 build. Figured someone on this board could use a low mile 350.

    Let me know guys.
