I have an older toro commercial lawnmower that runs a 12 volt electrical system and the coolant temp gauge is electric and of course it $hit the bed a long time ago. I just bought a new Stewart Warner temp gauge off ebay for 5 bucks. The seller lived in my town, so it was nice and cheap and easy. Beautiful gauge.. But, its a 24 volt. The seller also has a sending unit matched to the guage. DOes anyone here know anything about 24 volt electical systems and will this guage work on a 12 volt system and what do I need to do?
