    Just was wondering what square bore carb would be best for a 340

    AFB/Edelbrock. CFM depends on build. Stock is around 600-625.

    Mine is 750cfm. 0.050" over most likely about the the same lift... only so many cams for these motors.

    Will installing a larger cfm carb make more horsepower without other upgrades? Just asking because I just bought my first Buick and am currently putting the engine back together. :shock:

    It won't hurt as long as you don't go outrageously big.
