Had to do an emergency trip to Ft Worth. Drove straight out, was there 8 hours and then back to Nokomis all in 43 hours. 30.4 mpg average with cruise set on 75. Had the top down the entire trip except for a couple thunderstorms I hit. Took this picture out front of the house right before I left.
Nice! Back in the day we picked up a ‘72 GS455 in Ft. Lauderdale, drove back to Philly in 16hrs with no tag and a spare fender hanging out of the trunk. Without getting pulled over! Ahh the good old days!
