24 hrs clock vs 12 hrs clock??

    Whats the deal with those 2??? Were they both available from 70 to 72??Is there one rarer than the other??? Was the 24hrs only in gsx??Why would they make 2 of them!!??Is there one more desireble than the other? Damn, loving buicks aint easy!!! (and the wallet find it hard too!!):laugh:

    To my knowledge the 24 hr rallye clock came in 70 GSX for sure. Not sure on 71 or 72 since they had so many different ways of being optioned as opposed to the 70.

    The "rallye clock" (24hr.) was part of the sales code U9 option (instrument gauges and rallye clock) for the GS in '70 and '71. Not sure about '72, but probably the same. Available in any GS. You could also order an "electric clock" separately (U6). I believe this would be the 12hr. clock.


    Interestingly, on the '71 Skylark order form, there is no mention of a "rallye clock", only the "electric clock", whether ordered separately (U6) or with gauges (U8). Perhaps the 24hr. "rallye clock" was a GS only item.:Do No:
