I went with a Crower 50232 cam and I need to upgrade my valve springs, D&D’s catalog calls for Crane 99849 springs, but in trying to order them locally, that number can’t be found. What I do find is 99848, I really don’t want to call D&D and ask if it’s a misprint since I’m not buying the springs from them, anybody out there know the real deal ?

You can use any number of springs as long as you get the dimensions and spring loadings in the ballpark. Don't neglect the coil-bind height.

99848 is right. What heads are you using?215, 300 and Rover all have different valve lengths.
