Hello Everybody! The Rocky Mountain Buick GS club's annual get-together will be held on Saturday, August 5, at 3 p.m. in the North East parking lot of Golden High School in Golden, Colorado: Golden High School ยท 701 24th St, Golden, CO 80401 This is where we met last year, and corresponds with the monthly Golden Cruise. I'll be picking up Jimmy John's sandwiches for everyone who wants one. If you have any special dietary needs just let me know. Also, it would be great if someone could bring a canopy for shade. This year's get-together did not go off as planned. Everyone had fun, of course, and no cars were injured. But an international electric car group affiliated with the Colorado School of Mines reserved "our" Golden High School parking lot, complete with a certificate signed off by the Mayor to approve their land grab. So we picked up from our primo location and moved "up parking lot". Fortunately, and by dumb luck attributed to overall good karma, that moved us to a much nicer, tree-shaded location. Scott, through much fault of his own, used his "heaven opened and a GSX appeared" vehicle as a billboard to our new location . Only a "For Sale" sign could have caused more commotion, and I think we rounded up any Buck folks headed to the original spot. Pat, upon arrival from the air port show, joined Scott, making a spectacular display of their two white GSXs. Had Erik Larson and Mike Nearing appeared, it would have be akin to the miracle of Lourdes. Then it rained three times throughout the afternoon. It was great to see everyone, and I hope no one missed us! -mike

Scott, gee whiz, and to think that was the 'GSX' that I found years and years ago in SW Kansas and brought to Colorado. Man, your did a beautiful job on that car, it looks perfect and I commend you for the restoration you did on it. Larry.
