The Gear box sale went good and I have been selling so many that I thought I could lower the price so that Maybe more people could enjoy a quick ratio box or in some cases a fresh rebuild.

One thing I need to mention is most 70-72 cars already came with the quick ratio 3 turn option so for the ones that already have it it will just be a rebuild

now for the 64-69 guys this will be one of the best up grades you can do

I decided to lower the price to 100 bucks

shipping will be 20 bucks or you can come pick it up local in la puente ca

The core charge will how ever go up to 80 bucks. I am doing this in hopes that I will get more cores back

I get a steady supply of cores but I am always low. My rebuilder also told me he is running low on quick ratio conversions kits that he uses one the cores we get back that are not quick ratio

You can always save on the core charge by sending me your core first. we can also rebuild the numbers matching box you send in at no extra charge

I can also work with you on a payment plan if needed

Thank you below you will find the specs

64-72 GM A body gear box quick ratio. 3 to 3 1/8 turns stop to stop #6 or 6/7 casting rebuilt

200 shipped you will get 80 back if you supply a good reabuildable #6 or #6/7 casting core

CORE MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 50 DAYS OF RECEIVING REBUILT UNIT TO GET THE FULL 80 DOLLAR CORE CHARGE ANYTIME AFTER THAT YOU WILL GET 65 BACK

we ship anywhere in the USA or out of the country if you pay shipping

rebuilt in America from a used good core. 90 warranty but call me if you ever have any problems I'm sure I can still make it right

Hector Carrillo Carhex 626 488 5472 cell or 626 919 2762 home Please consider I am on Ca time when calling

same gear box you see at swap meets for 275+

same turns as the jeep box but direct bolt in no modifications needed unless you are converting from a manual box than you will need a rag joint that I can provide for 10 bucks extra

I can also have your factory numbers matching date coded gear box rebuilt and converted to quick ratio but you have to ship it to me

paypal is best but we can take other forms of payment

send me a PM with full name and shipping address and paypal info to order.

I will send you an invoice via paypal and most times will ship same day or very next shipping day.

They sell fast but I will post up as soon as one is ready or go back to people that were in line to buy

    Thank you. Hector

I thought I recall seeing a Society of Automotive Engineers spec sheet for the '70 GS 455 listing the stock steering wheel turns (lock-to-lock) at much more than 3. It might have been in Steve Dove's GS book. Aren't the modern GN/Monte SS steering boxes around 2.75 to 2.9?

Hector, I will probably be a customer in the spring. Tough to meet the 90 day requirement with the cars in storage around these here.

stock is 4 optional is 3 to 3 1/8 turn no idea on the GN monte carlo boxes they don't have the full turning radius so I dont sell them.
