It looks just awesome, great job! i really feel I missed a great event, but lets see what 2015 brings, it might be time to bring the '68 GS Convertible 4 speed back out for PSMCDR, and i'm ready to be shifting or 3 pedaling soon!
Yeah, go 4 it!!! Good times. Thanks Donny. Good talking with everyone there. Great to see the Munson Family.
:TU: A wonderful display and participation, all; many thanks to everyone involved. :beers2: A view from the other end of the PSMCDR row: Yes, that's our Ted Harbit, who will be 80 years of age in less than six months (Really.) BP
<iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s46.photobucket.com/user/Donny_Brass/embed/slideshow/"></iframe> over 200 pics from the weekend What a great event. Bob and Vicki do an awesome job and to see that many quality cars in one place is overload. The PSMCDR display was awesome. The amazement on people's faces when they realize these are not resorted 'old' racecars, but run as shown never gets old. Rich, Chris, Bob, Lon, Dave H, Dave W, Pete, Tom, Joe, Ted and Chris really embraced the 'chat up the public' job I asked them to do. Rarely was there a time that there we not multiple conversations going on around the video screens. I was quite surprised and honored to be asked to represent the racers of the Pure Stock Drags by having my car displayed in the lobby of this great event. All Bob Ashton asked was that I bring a timeslip and a pic of a burnout. To everyone who thanked me for the effort, you are more than welcome. It is a ton of work, but it is so much fun and so worth it. Was great to see so many great people, just like at the PSMCDR, I wish there was more time to visit. We have been invited back again next year, and I look forward to attending without a car on the premises............ great job everyone !
Major kudos to Donny and the crew for an awesome job done in representing the race! I am happy to say that I will be pulling more of my weight next year!!!! Great things are lining up for the event next year and I am geeked to be a part of it. It has been stated before, but this event is the premier muscle car event in the country. I am honored that Bob Ashton has seen enough of our group to make sure that we are invited into this event yearly. Donny and I are still looking for some cars to fill out our roster for next year. If you want to commit to the Thursday-Sunday before Thanksgiving, give me a jingle. We try to have diversity and a range of time slips and brands. My cell is 816-654-3400.
Would be cool to find 2 of these to hook the tree to http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-1970-1...Par-Woodgrain-Drivers-Education-/400040574356 but too pricey. there was a school up around Erie that have about 50 of them in the school yet about 15 years ago.
yeap, the burnout went all Hodges on me .......... here is that run <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/IlwGN9Wx7IU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I tell you Roberta, I credit you for making bring my A game, I never cut 3 lights like I did against you, because I knew I would need them. See you next year.........
It was nice seeing some of ya more than once a year. Wish I lived closer to make it more often.
First chance I have had to comment on MCACN show. One word, GREAT. The "X" has never looked so good under all the lights (flaws and all). We had the only cars with rubber on quarters and bumpers, how come? lol. Thanks again to Donny, especially for all his hard work (labor of love, I think he called it). His son and girlfriend deserve thanks, also. And Rusty too. It was good to see some of the guys viewing the show, Bob Karakashian, Paul Petcou, Tom Cannon and the father/son Dudeks' and I probably missed some others. Look forward to next year.
