http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxJODfIDMnE This is my friend in his 1968 Camaro racing the new 2010 Camaro.
Kinda a spooky place to race, across that bridge over that gourge, too many kids on the sidelines, disaster waiting to happen if you ask me.

The 2010 claims to be an SS/RS so it should be the V8.. In the comments the 68 claims to be 'The 68 has a small block 406. Tremec TKO 600R 5-speed, 3.73 gears 10 bolt posi. 295/50/15's on the back.'
Nice... I would like to see some track times. I am a fan of the LS engines... and that one is right where it belongs; under a chevy hood.
I just recently went to Maple Grove Raceway. There was a 2010 Camaro with the V-8 Six Speed. I don't remember the MPH but it went 12.44 on the first run and 12.72 after spinning the tires on the second run.
Had a bone stock ss at the 8th mile track this friday, 9.2 is about average, it was really slow off the line but picked up nicely at top of first then into second. A set of drag radials and some deeper gears will help these cars out alot.
I know they tested it and went 13.02. I'm just going off of what I was told by the person who owned the car. For all I know he could've done other stuff to it as well and if he did I couldn't notice anything.
Just a chassis dyno tune by someone who know what there doing can pick up 20hp, plus like you said, you never really know what anyone has, i know i dont tell people what all i have
