I am trying to piece together all of the various info for putting the 200R4 into my car. From what I gather, the swap is pretty straight forward. It should bolt directly in with the exception of having to change the yoke end of the drive shaft to match up with the splines in the transmission. I will also have to fabricate TV Cable mount. The questions that I have is what torque convertor to use and will it bolt in or will I have to chnge the flexplate and/or flywheel.
Please correct me if I am wrong on any of this, I havent been able to find a concise listing of all the steps involved.
Any suggestions of which car to try to get all the parts I will need?

I just pulled a 200r4. The splines are the same as on a st300, 700r4, muncie, and 350th.. I tried a 67 st300 yoke in all of them. It fit in every one. The 200r4 yoke (pulled from a 83 Olds 98) measures a 1/2" longer and has the same diam. as the st300 yoke. Thought I would let you know. :)

Just get a "D5" converter. It is the stock one for a GN. Will give you a little more stall but with a lockup OD who cares. Check some of the links for 200r4's on TV cable info. I use a bowtie overdrives setup but there are otheres. You must have the TV cable set up properly or the tranny will die.
