Mark is a great guy, very easy to deal with and he does very nice work. He built me a very nice 800-cfm Q-Jet with an electric choke, spec'ed to my engine, and his rates are very reasonable! In the process my wife and I dropped off my old carb and a bunch of cores/spares, and he kindly showed us around his place and his Buicks - another great example of the kind of great folks in the Buick world! I'm sorry to her that Mark's shoulder is going to put him out of some action for a bit, but I'd recommend his Q-Jet work to anybody.
I'd like to also add that Mark was Great spending time with me on the phone trying to get Steve Campbell's car squared away for Temple (Best time & MPH the car had run in the 1/4) and that he dove right in @ the track to get things running properly. Great Person to Deal with & Great quality of work as well. I have dealt with him on other parts as well (swaps, selling, etc.) and they All have been good. Mark is a Super Stand up Person. JR
James, Thanks for posting this and I would definitely like to add another 2 big thumbs up for Mark! The first Qjet he built for me wound up being somewhat rich for my nailhead so he built another one for me and shipped it to me in time to get the car ready for Temple. Then at Temple he did some fine tuning and the car ran great, as JR stated above! I doubt anyone can find a nicer guy to deal with, even though I called him numerous times since I was a newbie to Qjets. Mark's a really nice guy and I would recommend his work to anyone.
