2 oil galley plugs behind the timing chain.

    I was thinking about threading them and screw in some very shallow plugs, anyone else do that there? :Do No:

    The thought of one of those coming loose one day....:af:

    Yes, that can be done and has been done, make sure you use some shallow plugs, the standard type plug is way too tall and will block off the oil passage inside.
    As a side note, I have never had one of the press in plugs come out, I have had engines push 100 psi cold and even then they won't blow out. Jim Burek P.A.E. ENTERPRISES

    I did it on mine several years ago. I bought them from T/A I believe. That way I didn't have to worry about the plugs being too shallow. They are already ground different, one being thinner than the other.I think they were about 4-5 bucks. Brian
