Question; what will a 2" drop spindle do to alter the general geometry
of the front end? My intuition tells me that it will raise the front end
but I am not sure. Does it affect the height or width of tires used?
    Steering effects if any???

Also, is this a good-bad or neutral idea? Should I look for a straight conversion.
I have a 70 GS with 14" fromt rims. Thank you

    Willem,
2" drop spindles will lower the car. Is that what you want? I don't think so. Check this link out and do some reading. What you want is to use the taller spindles in conjunction with special control arms to give you negative roll in the corners. The stock A body front suspension induces + camber on the outside tire in a turn. The tire tilts out at the top and loses grip causing understeer. The Global West kit makes the camber go -, the tire stands up straight in a turn and handling is VASTLY IMPROVED.

Thank you, just what I wanted to hear. I appreciate the link and will study it.
I saw an advertisement on Craigslist for a "New, complete, nrfb etc." for a wonderful price but they did indicate a 2" drop. You are right, I do not want to lower the car.
