Hello all We have returned a 1967 Larson runabout to the water after a long stint (15-20yrs) in the barn. It has the v6 odd fire in it. ? is it runs great on up throttle and idle but when we come back on the throttle from rpms it dies. It will start right back up with no issues. I have never seen this. I could see if it bogged taking off but backing down is new to me. Any suggestions? I'm not a carb. guy thanks in advance.
whats the idle rpm ? I've had cars do that if the idle was too low . maybe adjust it up a little and see . no idea what boat idle should be - car , around 700 for that I'd guess . check for vac leaks - under decel the manifold vac will change . that's a couple guesses . too early .
