Balance guy just called me . 2 rods too light . All 8 came out of the same motor ? Need a couple in the 650 gram range. '73 and newer should be same I think . Any info appreciated . Thanks .
He's been doing it for a long time . Said the ends would be pretty thin when he got done . Plus I had the top ends drilled for floating pins . Extra material gone there also .
quickee bump . and , if someone had maybe some TA 4340 rods etc at a fair price i would consider an upgrade i guess . non press fit style . have "floater" pistons . checked - TA is outa stock .
Still no luck finding a couple used rods local etc . Maybe pull the trigger on a set of the Molnar rods . Back in stock shortly they said .
Yes , they told me blanks in stock , in line for machining and finish work . Couldn't give me a firm ETA .
