2.73 open rear end.

It is a complete rear end with new front pinion and seals. No brakes included. Very quiet rear. I changed the entire system out to a 3.08. Taking up space so Free to a good home

is it a 8.2, 8.5, 12 bolt? 70 oem is a 8.2 but i didnt know if its the oem rear.

 

Here is what I can tell you, its black, its heavy and about 4.5 ft long and it was in my car when I bought it. I put new seals and pinion in it, and the darn thing made the one tire on back wear down faster than the other. It will fit a 68-72 Skylark or GS. Beyond that, I don't know.
I figured I would see if someone wanted it for FREE, before I take it and make scrap metal out of it. :TU:

I'd be interested if its 8.5 or 12 bolt cause I'd have to have it shipped. I have a few 8.2s

I believe it would be a 68-70 8.2 rear end with that gear ratio.
