My son has a 2008 Dodge Avenger with a 2.4 L. Last weekend my wife and I drove to Omaha (from MPLS) to see grandkids. My son's Avenger threw a code of 2014 - I took the car in to the Dodge dealer. (My son has been laid off from 3 jobs in the past year - we have supported his wife and three kids). Anyway - the dodge dealer said the car needed Alternator, belts, pulleys and a new Intake Runner/Manifold and a power steering pump. This is on a car that has 85k on it - the dealers bill would have been close to $2100. I paid to the the code removed, and I installed the power steering pump, alternator and pulley. I ordered a new intake manifold/runner for him. It should be to him this week. I have looked in as many places as I could find for instructions on replacing the manifold. Although my son is quite handy, he can't afford to goof this one up (neither can I). Does anyone have any instructions that can be emailed to me or direct me that will provide him guidance on how to install the intake?
