  1. SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

1992 Festiva, 127k miles. 50MPG highway, 35+MPG city. 5 speed manual transmission. Very fun to drive! It has the suspension and brakes from a Ford Aspire (it's a direct bolt-in) which makes the car corner EXTREMELY well. The bigger Aspire brakes brakes make the car stop very fast. Also has 14" wheels with Falken 512 tires (size195-60R14). You can compare the handling to a go-kart, or heck even a Ferrari, no joking. The timing on the engine has been advanced and the car has a glasspack muffler which gives the car a nice low growl (not like those annoying coffee can mufflers you see). There is a ton of storage room in the back as the rear seet folds forward and flat. Three bicycles will easily fit back there. The front seats are also from an Aspire and are quite comfortable. CD player with 2-way speakers. Everything works!

The car is very simple which makes it very reliable since there really isn't anything that can go wrong. The engine is strong and surprisingly quick especially around town. You can park almost anywhere because it's so small. I bought this car in Philedelphia and drive from there to Cleveland with no problem and it was very comfortable.

The body is in good shape overall but has a couple spots of rust on the front corners of the rear wheel wells. Also has a minor dent in the driver's side door which can probably be pounded out, and the right fender has some wrinkles. The front rotors are warped and will need to be turned or replaced. The engine needs a crank seal which I hope to have fixed before a sale, and in doing so the car will also get a new timing belt.

You really need to drive this car to believe it, it'll shake any stereotype you might have with a Festiva. You can't help but smile as you carve through turns and traffic. I'm sad to see it go but I have too many vehicles. It'll make a great work car, first car, beater, whatever. Asking $1000 or any reasonable offer will be accepted. Start saving gas today!

    VIN: KNJPT05H2N6113440, I have a Carfax report.

Call Jim, 440 309 6401, if I don't answer leave a message WITH A CALLBACK NUMBER as I work till 4:30 M-F. No worries about calling too late at night, I turn the phone off before I go to bed.

Car is located in Cleveland, OH, on the Cleveland/Lakewood border.

Is all the smog stuff still in place?

This is probably asking too much, but does it have AC?

  7. BostonGSX/58Special- hahaha, I never ran it, probably deep into the 17's!

My plan was to drop the 1.3 for a 1.8 from an Escort GT (130hp) and it would be running high 14's like my buddy's Festiva, but I just don't have time or space. I wanted it for the mileage but got a motorcycle instead.

Now running through an autocross course you're talking better times. I had hoped to enter it in an event or two but I've been traveling quite a bit lately, so getting up early on Sunday mornings just hasn't been happening.

Alan- no a/c. All emissions equipment is still in place.
