Yes this is Mikes old red 87 TA that you have read about in the GSXTRA for the last ten years. It was also featured in the June 2000 Hot Rod Magazine. I have loved this car for years, but it is time to sell it due to my first child that will be born very soon. Here is how the car is set up now.... Engine: Buick 462 .30 TRW pistons Crank: .10 under with clearances at 15 on the rods and 20 on the mains. File fit molly rings Complete balancing and rods reconditioned ARP Main studs rod bolts and Head studs Oil pump booster plate TA performance multi key way double roller timing chain Popular Mechanics cam installed +4 Ported 71 steel stage I heads Old B4B intake Holly 850 DP Poston aluminum pulleys Gesler ported manifolds Transmission 200 R4 BRF code rebuilt by Jimmies Transmission 3200 Precision stall convertor Rear end 342 with moser axels Globel west track link Boxed control arms This car is so reliable you can drive anywere. The best MPG was 19 on the hwy. I made at least 20 passes at the track in 2005 on STREET TIRES 12.30 at 114 MPH like clock work. Then drove home with the A/C blowing cold. I am asking $14500.00 obo. It is a car you must drive. It is a blast to blow away a Z06 in a mullet car. If you want pictures please PM me. Or call me at 414-736-4873 Thanks Ross
That car is so radical. I remember when it was in the gsxtra and when it was in a hot rod or car craft or something. But unfortunately, here in CA, any 1975 or earlier car has to pass the smog tailpipe test and the visual. I am not sure how it is in other states.
Ebay Don't even ask me about ebay Someone hacked into my account and screwed things up. The last bidder didn't have the money and wanted me to wait for two months. So he could get a loan. I personaly would like to just sell this car to someone in the buick club that will take care of this car. I have had the most fun with this car with in the last year. It's a must see must drive car :3gears:
Hi, I will not waste your time in wanting pics to BUY this car, I am building a 82 firebird right now, and thinking of putting a 455 in it. I would like to see your pics if you have them though, one to see this car, I do not remember ever seeing or reading about it before now, and I like to see what others have done to cars, custom jobs so to speak. I really hope you can move the car for what your asking and hope it goes soon for you. If you could send me pics to jessdarper@yahoo.com, that would be awesome, especially if you have any of the engine bay, so I can see what I am up against. Thanks for your time. and good luck on your sale. Tried PMing you and your inbox is full it says
