Well I fianlly went ahead and bought the black 86 cutlass from the yard. I just picked up a 70 350 yesterday to throw in it (Thanks Chuck!:TU: )and I want to use the accesories from the 231 on it. Will I have any issues doing this? ________ Site:Www.Vaporshop.Com
No big issues anyway. You'll need to change some metric bolts to standard and the smog pump bracketry makes the distributor bolt a pain in the:moonu: to reach. I cut my smog bracket off, but its still hard to reach. I'm swapping engines again and a fix for this would be to eliminate the long top bolt and cut the center of the bracket away. Then use a short bolt to the block and a short nut and bolt to secure the PS.
231 acessory how does the air cond comp fit on you engine ? i have a 79 and 83 regal with 350 buicks in them and i used the 350 brackes because ac didn t fit for me thanks
Mine all bolted right on with the V-6 stuff. Now the lines aren't hooked up yet cause I need V-8 lines to compensate for the engine length difference. Besides that, it was a bolt on.
