What engine did the Riviera XX Anniversary Edition have? I thought it was a the turbo 231, but also thought that it may have had the Olds 307 V8, or 5.7(350) V8. Can anyone clarify what engine this came with? P.S. Wasn't there a pace car Riviera, or was I just dreaming when I was browsing Rivs? ou: Was the pace car the one with a Turbo?(besides S) Thanks in advance. :TU:
Standard engine was the 4.1 L / 252 CI V6, optional was the 307 CI Olds V8. The only 350 engine available for model year 1983 was the Olds 350 CI diesel, and you could buy a diesel Riviera, but I'm not sure if this engine was also available for the XXAE Riviera.
