Just the other day, we were stopped waiting for a school bus ahead of us. Some guy in a truck with those same 13in wheels didn't see us or the bus, and locked up his brakes trying to stop after he was out of room. All I heard was tires sliding as he slid right between us and the car in the lane next to us, almost hitting us both down the sides. He didn't even stop after that, he took off again once he was clear and hit a side street before the bus and kept going. No apologies or anything. I looked down at the road, and he had a pair of little 4 - 5 inch wide skid marks. It looked like he just didn't have enough tire in contact with the road to stop himself. Pretty dangerous.
