Solid, straight, mostly complete, dash pad was garbage, no shifter, console and seats are present, door panels are in good shape, weatherstriping is still soft, I wasn't concerned with the trim type stuff as it was and still will be a track toy if I keep it. I cut the engine harness and pulled the AC/rad assembly and cut the ac fittings etc, it's just a good foundation for a hot rod. Not really worth trying to do anything else with it
Yes clean and in my name, car is actually low mileage not that it matters much, but floors, 1/4s fenders doors etc are all virgin straight healthy metal, front of hood was soft but who would care for a track toy rite? Rear deck has a few places bubbling but very minor and an easy fix You northern fellas dont get cars with metal like this, if you ever wanted a Hawk to build this is it, 2800lb curb weight with the iron V6, an aluminum headed 350 making 500hp would fly in this chassis
fond memories.... my 77, sold to a Canadian, so yes, they can be made to FLY! GN, turbo V6, with lots of upgrades,
I recall seeing a Skyhawk racing on Road Atlanta road course in the 70s. BMW,Porsche,Morris,etc....and the Skyhawk.
