I'm looking for a car again... this time a 1975-76 Riviera. I'm looking for a nice car that doesn't need much work- nothing major anyway.

Distance isn't important; at least it never has been in the past!

Any leads or info is appreciated!

    Well, that escalated quickly.

I bought a 1976 Riviera from the original owner in Nebraska. It has 78 thousand miles and 100% original paint. Woohoo!

Wow that was quick. Congratulations! Looks in great condition. Did you get a lead from your post?
I love the high mount tail lights on these cars.

No, from Facebook. But Rob Houter had talked to the guy at some length a couple of months ago and had some insight too.

It needs bumper fillers, which I have ordered.

And the tires are 95% tread and 20 years old... so new tires too. Cooper makes a nice whitewall I like.

The car has some rock chips and a few small dings...if I can get a PDR guy to try it, I will. I hear the steel is too thick. :Do No:

Nice car Frank ! I like the woodgrain texture of the seats :)

Looks like a very nice original, sample Frank, any particular reason for choosing a '75, or '76 ?
. . . now you can join the ROA Frank, although a car was never a prerequisite to be a member ! :Do No:

Because I have had a 66 67 68 69 71 73 and 83 and those are just the Rivieras! I wanted something new to me, as usual. 1st gen is next! I couldn't find one of those that was just right and this one popped up on a Riv Facebook group. I'm really psyched about this one since it is so original. The seller sent me a pic of the original title from 1976. The guy paid cash! For a Riviera? He must be well off; that was quite a car then.

ROA 10634! I did renew but it had lapsed so I wasn't in the directory.

That's a very nice looking Riv you found. :TU: And Rob is definitely a go to guy for those cars.

OK Frank - stands to reason, since you have tried one of each over a few years !
Looks like you found a real keeper this time, only question is -for how long?
    . . . enjoy man! :beer

It was picked up today and will be here tomorrow! 550.00...3 day pickup...not bad.

I changed the interior color of my 75 electra from tan to black. I kept the some of the tan interior parts. I think they are the same color as yours. if you want it they are free
