1976 Riv

    Have possible 1976 Riv SR. anybody know what SR means? Also anybody ever use 700 r4 trans? Bernie Steffen.

    So, with the S/R package you would have 40/40 seats, power windows, and S/R emblems on the front fenders. Its a rare package on a rare production car. 1,619 Rivieras out of 20,082 made it out with the package. It was only available in 1976 too. Interior color choices were either the popular red, and the less popular "buckskin". Hope this helps :TU:

    I have seen S/R Rivs with blue interior,along with red,and buckskin. S/R package replaced GS package in '76.

    S/R package also available on Skyhawk,Skylark through '78 and on Century-Regal to '77

    S-R Body excellent. No rust My Cousin bought the car new. The car has approximately 90,000 Miles on it. hasn't been driven for several years. Engine had heating problem when parked. possibly blown headgasket. they had a problem on lower front corner of head. Bernie Steffen
