I have a 1976 455 block for sale. I had bored it .030" over and used it in a buildup back in 2004. It was my first attempt at building an engine and it never made the power I wanted. I took it back to the machine shop and had it hot-tanked for another project in 2005, but it never progressed beyond that. It's been sitting in my garage collecting dust since 2006. I don't anticipate building another engine in the forseeable future, so I'm sending this down the road. I'm hoping to get $200 for it. I can deliver within a several state distance for a reasonable fee. I can also hold it until Spring/Fall Carlisle or Hershey meets in 2013. I took a quick video to inspect the cyl bores. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfDRBSEBSUg
Scott, I'll take it pending your checking the bores to make sure they wouldn't need a rebore to clean them up after sitting around that long(rust?). No major scratches? Mike
