Love the car, but the seller makes me nervous. Feedback of 3 and encourages people to call him to "end the auction". I guess that's a way to avoid paying eBay, but considering I don't know him from Adam, and I can't physically see the car, that makes it a non starter for me.
Auction states: **I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL OR EBAY PAYMENT TYPES FOR THIS AUCTION.** I thought ebay required you to use one of their payment types?

The pics in that ad really help get a better overall scope of the condition. It's hard to see that in any of the current pics on the ebay ad. Cool car either way. If it was closer to me, I'd be going to check her out.
Car has been discussed on here before. Condition of motor and rust and price made for a non-sale for 2- 5 years now.
I didn't realize it was that car. Neat car but needs a lot. I didn't know there were no '74 4-sp. cars.
https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/73-gs-4-speed.365712/ This is a somewhat recent thread about the car. Most important post is from CJay: "Just got off the phone with the guy.... First, I never met a more unmotivated seller. He told me the car needs brake work, the engine is "huffing" oil. So it will likely need a rebuild. Carb is bad. Engine diesels after shutoff. The interior has rodent damage- holes in the headliner and back of front seat. So you know the thing stinks too. The shifter is hanging up in between gears. Shifter issue or a more serious issue with the Muncie? He says its also not the original engine and its been sitting for 10 years." I don't know if the current seller is the same person CJay talked to. But a couple of mechanical issues were brought up. They could have been fixed since 2021. With the asking price of $18.5 you would think so, but wouldn't surprise me if nothing was done.
shifter issues.....how can that be. that shifter is the biggest piece of junk on the car. i know, mine is. but it looks good from here.
Payment options are suspect , but quite common for ebay pros that want to complete deal under radar. An in person or agent look see would be needed for that kind of money .
my all stock ‘74 Chev Laguna 454 4-speed had the goofy shifter that had to lift up on the stick to put it in reverse. Not bad otherwise
