Not mine. I've never seen this car before but it looks like it was built right..... http://www.racingjunk.com/category/...4-Buick-Apollo-GSX-Stage-2-455-Prostreet.html Lon
Apollo is right ... that thing is ready to make a moon-shot. What do the X-bodies weigh? 3,000 - 3,200 lbs.?
this car is the real deal, has been to Car Craft, in Hotrod, and other pubs. The car has been to GS nationals for years. full tub, roll cage, big block up front, nice car. asking about the price I would expect for this type of build.
I saw this at the GS Nats in BG Ky. When you go in in the mornings, the gate is locked until a certain time, cars line up side by side to wait for the gate to open, taking up both lanes of a 2 lane road. One year I was parked right beside him waiting to get in. Super nice guy, did a lot of the build himself, with family, about the baddest sounding car there that year (aroung 99, 2000, 01 somewhere). Then saw him the next year already there when I arrived. I don't always go now days, haven't foe a few years. Mike
It is a very nice Apollo. I took several pictures of it the first time I saw it at the GS Nats. The owner was from Louisville, Ky. I don't think he ever ran it down the track. He did enter it in the car show. Somewhere around here I have a picture of my Red Apollo setting beside this Green Apollo. Marv.
