Hey I am looking for a fan blade and clutch for a 74 455.and a PS pump pully. I bought this engine about a year ago, and the guy I bought it from had got it from a lien on a storage unit. The engine did not come with power steering pump, or fan. I do not know if the bracket next to the alternator was for AC, but I am planning on putting AC in the car at a later date. I bought a remanned PS pump from my local auto parts store, but no pully.
Are the fan/clutch assemblies different for a 75 or 76? I have a couple of those available from a 225 and an Electra Limited. I can measure the outside diameter of the fans if you are interested. How does $25 plus shipping sound? Let me know, Randy
I am not to familiar with the 455's. I don't think there would be a difference. Price sounds good. I will PM you with my Info.
Hi Neil I have the fan clutch, no fan. came off a 70 Olds W-30 455v8 motor I had in my 66 Chev pickup. If you need it I will dig it out for you. Its in one of my spare parts boxes. That I need to clean out. Let me know and I will take a pic and email it. Looks like your getting closer with the project Gary
