Might be that there are a few going to shows and Buick events, so people get to see 1 :Do No: I was not at the GSCA Nats this year, but I saw there were 2 down for the show!! Maroon twins I think! I agree these cars drive great :TU:

Mike, I don't know the history but here is Lee Farah's story from his website:

"This car was purchased on ebay from a Joseph Sobers of Wyoming, Michigan (oakland county) and was effectively STOLEN since Mr. Sobers took the 500 dollar deposit and was never heard from again. A detective Dan Buikema from the Oakland County Police Department explained that Mr. Sobers is a well known petty thief and con artist and that they were very familiar with Mr. Sobers. He also explained that the district attorney of Oakland County Michigan was reluctant to prosecute Mr. Sobers based on the fact that ebay and paypal make it horrendously difficult for him to obtain the needed information in any manner. No information he had requested had made it's way back to the district attorney's office from either ebay or paypal to the date of this writing. Sounds like you can be an internet thief in Oakland Michigan and get away with it ... "

It's an old story so the car may have changed hands since then.

I would say this is a pay in person type deal, I would not drive a long way for this one who knows what you might you get there.

Looks like the local boy is back to the favorite on this deal again

Well I have had a soft spot for the 73-74 Gran Sports ever since I looked at a 74 Stage 1 in NC in 83 for $800.( Should have asked my Grandpa for a loan, He was a Buick man for years) that and George Hall's 74 Stage 1 race car.

    I have actually found a 73 455 and a 74 Stage 1 that I have been watching.

If I had the $$$ right now. I would try for the one Mike has on Ebay. I have relatives in Detroit and the Hall's are just south of Grand rapids.
